Okay, so they're back, but you could at least have washed them. These stains are going to look very incriminating...

Multitalentlessness

I'm getting seriously pissed off at myself and the world around me (EMO!) for not finding me enough time to relax and draw. Not only that, I can't ever be satisfied with one style of something; I just need a bit of everything.

That's kind of what happened to me with art for the last 2 years or so. I bought all sorts of art gadgets; markers, pencil crayons, graphite, Tablet, and even sculpting materials, but I'm not good at any of them! I can't stick to one thing, y'know?

And then the problem breaks off further as I find more art styles within each of the media. Just with Photoshop, the possibility is endless, and I'm never getting especially good at any of them.

*PS* I needed something to clear off my last journal.
*PPS* Mood won't change, so it remains as "Satisfied." :(

Well it is sort of satisfactory... (horrid joke). Anyway, cheer up cause guess what. Cause probably are learning more than you know. I noticed improvement on several scales since I watched you. I noticed. Thing is people improve when they learn, and the one way to do that is step outside of your comfort zone. And for one, I believe you are doing that a lot more often than others do.

Well, whatever you do, I'm sure you'll do it better than me. ;P

But seriously, you have a very interesting and individual style, and I do always enjoy seeing your art. If you're not happy with the way it currently looks, just keep experimenting, trying new styles and effects. Eventually you'll find something you like and stick with it. ^^

The way you get better is by practicing more and more... And I say kudos to you for trying out new styles...Makes you more flexible.

I also don't think that you stink at art at all. You're actually very good. Just keep drawing, dude.

Nothing wrong with trying lots of styles, and you'll be better for it in the end. Just keep going until something sticks :)

Ahh, thanks. It's just that I think I'm never getting to fully learn from the new things I try.
*1Narane1:icon1Narane1: Jun 21, 2008, 9:38:31 AM
I think it's wrong that I'm just trying everything half-assed. :(
*1Narane1:icon1Narane1: Jun 21, 2008, 9:42:36 AM
Eh... I don't think I ever got to see much of your colour works in the first place. Maybe you're like the exact opposite of me, y'know, focusing on one thing and being really good at it.
